Peripherally driven, Stator/Rotor type, Clariflocculator mechanism, suitable for installation in your RCC tank of size 17.00 to 60.00 meters diameter, with an RCC flocculation tank ,  a center pier with feed inlet pipe and RCC Launder, generally as detailed below

Main Center mechanism, Dual drive ‘HF’ type, Bevel mechanism, placed on the center RCC Pier. 
Bridge Center support with hinge pin arrangement mounted over the center mechanism.
 Traction trolley, made out of ISMC 300 channels, duly bent to the tangent of the traversing line over the tank wall. Protective railings to be provided on the trolley end.

450 mm dia by 150 mm wide MS/CI rubber lined traction wheels, front end positively driven and rear end non-driven, with shafts fixed on 222__-K journals and mounted under the traction wheels, with a center of 3,000 mm between each wheel.
 Traction drive consisting of the Gear Box & Motor coupled with Chain Drive  and mounted on the front end of the trolley.

Driving Bridge cum walkway, an end resting on the bridge center support over pins and the other end resting on the trolley.  Bridge width would be minimum 1000 mm.. The bridge would be of truss type fabricated structures and spliced/bolted for the purpose of transportation.

Walkway make out of 5mm chequered plates and hand railings to the full length of the bridge.  The railings are made out of 32NB/25 NB, B-class pipes.

Vertical suspended structures below the bridge to the tank floor, rake arms suspenders, on the outer tank area (non-flocculating outer tank), duly cross braced on all the axis.

Bottom rake arm frame, with blades bolted, fixed to the suspenders and designed to sweep the radius of the outer tank.  At a time, the radius of the outer tank, would be swept (Bottom taper 1:12 to suit your RCC tank).

  Reputed make spring Brass /  Rubber squeezees, 1mm thick, bolted to the blades, under clamp strips.

Rake arms to sweep the inside tank where flocculation also takes place.  The drum would be in four segments  and shall have feed outlet into the tank.

Two clarifier truss type fabricated arms, to be bolted to the drum and having blades, to sweep the full inside tank diameter at a time (Bottom taper 1:12 to suit your RCC tank).

 Reputed make spring Brass /  Rubber squeezees bolted to the blades, under clamp strips.

 Stator flocculation paddles fixed to the clarifier rake arms and projecting upwards.

 Rotor flocculation cage, made out of robust angles, fixed to the Bevel gear of the center mechanism

Rotor flocculation paddles, suspended from flocculation arms fixed to the cage, projecting downwards and rotating between stator paddles.

 Flocculation drive consisting of small Drive Head driven by Gear Box & Motor

Central sludge well scrappers

All drive items, machined parts, bought out items, etc. will be packed in wooden boxes. All structural fabricated items will be supplied loose.

 Speed of clarifier rake arms will be 2500 mm/minute at the tip.

Speed of the flocculator arms will be 400 mm /second.

All required hardware, Anchor bolts, Tie rods/Turn buckles etc.

Equipment-Peripherally driven clariflocculator mechanism, TYPE ‘IF’, having two or four independent Flocculators, suitable for installation in your R.C.C. Tank of size 12.00 Meter to 60.00 meters diameter, with a RCC Flocculation tank, Center pier and Launder, generally as per the details given below :

The mechanism would be of traction driven type, running on C.I.R.L / M.S.R.L wheels over the tank wall and a turn table in the Center Pier thus spanning the radius of the tank.

Slewing ring type turn table resting over a mild steel base frame on the RCC center pier.

Bridge Center Support over the turntable with hinge pin/pivot arrangement.

A current collector of Ten Rings.

Walkway cum driving bridge of 1000 mm wide with 1 meter high hand railings and 5 mm thick chequered plate walkway for the full length of bridge.

450mm diameter and 150 mm wide running on 222__ K bearings, pedestals, sleeves etc. and having suitably selected driven sprocket, with shear pin arrangement.

Traction (Clarifier) drive consisting of Gear Box Motor & Chain Drive

Clariflocculator Peripheral Driven IF Type entire assembly rests over the traction carriage, front end, inside the tank.

Mild Steel Scraper Rake Arm supports suspended from the bridge bottom, holding the scraper frames, two numbers, one for sweeping the outside tank bottom and the other for sweeping the flocculation tank bottom. The bottom R.C.C. slope would be 1:12 (8%).

Central sludge well scraper

Mild Steel tank bottom scraper blades bolted to the scraper frames, the blades arranged and quantified in such a way, the entire tank floor radius is swept at a time.

Brass / Rubber squeezees, bolted to the blades, made of 26 gauge spring brass sheets of Reputed make. Alternatively, rubber squeezes could be provided.

Two independent Flocculation paddle type agitators, spaced on the driving bridge. They are placed at 180 deg. to each other and positioned at the centers between the pier and flocculation tank wall.

The flocculation paddles, two nos., are suspended from each ‘A’ type drive head. The frame and the paddles angles would cover at least 25% Cross sectional area of the flocculation tank.

Speed of clarifier, at 2500 mm/minute over the wheels. 0.021 RPM on the tip.

Speed of Flocculator paddles, at 400 mm/second at the tip. Max. 0.50 RPM.

Clariflocculator Centrally Driven

 

Clariflocculator mechanism, centrally driven, suitable for installation in your R.C.C. tank of sizes 3.00  meter to 15.00 meter diameter, generally as per the below-said specifications:

- Main bridge cum walkway spanning the full length of the tank, made of I-Beams,  running parallel, cross braced with M.S. angles and rigidly secured by anchor fasteners on to the tank.

- Chequered plate walkway of 5 mm thick and hand railings made of 32 / 25 NB ‘B’ class pipes of 1.00 meter high from one end of the bridge to the drive center and a meter beyond.

- ‘A’ Type Main Drive Head, for Clarifier, capable of continuous operating torque of 2,000 to 15,000  foot pounds in the bridge center with the driven sprocket on the input shaft.

- Prime mover assembly for Clarifier, operating the drive head, is usually a Gear- Motor Combination coupled with Chain Drive

- The drives are selected to achieve a Clarifier rake arm tip speed of  2,500 mm / minute.

- ‘A’ Type Main Drive Head, for Flocculator,  concentrically placed below the Scraper drive head, with Lovejoy coupling on the input shaft.


 The drives are selected to achieve a Clarifier rake arm tip speed of  400 mm / second.

- Clarifier vertical shaft, made of a solid round bar of  dia and having receipt plates / brackets for rake arms, will be freely suspended from the top scraper drive head worm gear into the tank bottom.   There shall be a pipe stub shaft at the bottom.

- Clarifier rake arms, two nos., made of channels and suitably braced with MS angles, duly welded with blades, made of 5 mm plates, 760 mm long , will be positioned on either side of the vertical shaft.

- Two stub arms of channels placed at right angles to the rake arms.

- Four cross brace angles,  rigidly securing the rake arms and the stub arms.

- Central sludge well scraper.

- 26 Swg. spring brass squeezes on each blade secured by clamp strips.

- Flocculation tank, made out of  1.60 mm thick F.R.P. sheets, duly braced and strengthened with M.S. angles, in segments, duly spliced and spruced, will be bolted to the bridge bottom.

- One set of flooculation paddles will be bolted to the Flocculation Vertical shaft.  Clariflocculator Centrally Driven shaft will be bolted to the Flocculator drive head (Bottom of the two drive heads).  Clariflocculator Centrally Driven shaft also would be enveloping the scraper vertical shaft concentrically.
